About a month ago, Apple unveiled its upcoming OS X Yosemite operating system and made available for download the first beta version of the same. OS X Yosemite sports an iOS7 inspired user interface and ships with plenty of new features.
If you love the new flat-design of OS X Yosemite and would like to get the same in your Windows operating system as well, simply download and install this newly released visual style (theme) for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
Swift visual style for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 brings Yosemite look and feel to your Windows Explorer (File Explorer). Yosemite theme is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
Installing and applying the theme is fairly simple. You just need to enable third-party visual styles support and then copy required files to the Themes folder.
Please note that you need prepare your Windows operating system to support third-party themes. This is because, as you likely know, Windows doesn’t let you install third-party themes with default settings. You need to use third-party tools such as UXStyle Core or UX Theme Patcher to enable third-party themes support in Windows.

How to install OS X Yosemite theme in Windows 7/8.1
NOTE: We suggest you create a manual system restore point or image backup before installing third-party themes.
Step 1: Visit this page, download UXStyle and then run the same to enable third-party visual styles support. Reboot your PC after installing UXStyle software.
Again, please create a system restore point or image backup as the current version of UXStyle available for Windows 8/8.1 reportedly has some bugs. If a blank screen is appearing while rebooting your PC, please wait for a while to see the lock screen.
Step 2: Visit this page of DeviantArt to download Yosemite theme for Windows 7, or head over to this page to download the theme for Windows 8.1.
Step 3:Extract the RAR file, copy the Swift folder to WindowsResourcesThemes folder located in your Windows installed drive. That is, if your Windows drive is “C”, then you need to copy the Swift folder to C:WindowsResourcesThemes folder.
Step 4: Next, right-click on the desktop, click Personalize, select Swift theme and then click Apply. That’s it!
